Good Bye PJ, We Miss You!

PJ is on the left and me on the right.

Good Bye PJ!

PJ, You are Missed!

Greetings every one, this is Chloe! I have been tasked with the responsibility of keeping this blog up to date. As many of you know, PJ went to Poodle Heaven in May of 2010. PJ will be missed dearly and totally irreplaceable. In a day or so, I will officially introduce you to My New Running Buddy!

As PJ did, I now look forward to keeping you up to date as we continue to discover America and Cedar Creek Lake in particular. Now, would PJ be proud of me or What?

See ya Soon!

To Dallas and Back Home!

Good morning one and all. We had a very nice trip to Dallas starting last Thursday and finally back home yesterday. The KOA in Dallas was very nice but as Sam and Deb said, the Internet leaved a lot to be desired for sure. Well, PJ and I could care less about the Internet, we loved the park and especially the play ground, free and no leashes for us. Sam and Deb were in seminars and as Sam says, attitude adjustment classes from Thursday night until late Saturday night.

One class in particular that they ranted and raved about was this guy brought out a snake, non-poisonous of course, of all things and found the person in the crowd that seemed to be the most afraid of the snake. His intention was to slowly get her used to the idea and eventually hold and pet the snake. The analogy was that people have hang ups and fears that hold them back in business and personal life. Fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of success and fear of the unknown. Without going through all the Four Steps, at the end of the day, this Lady did hold and pet the snake. It was an eye opening example of how a person can over come their hang ups or fears in order to reach a goal that is important to them.

Dallas was fun, Sam and Deb even go to go see Grandma for lunch Sunday and she was doing very well. Who knows, maybe some day, PJ and I will get to go spend some time with her.

Oh Well! Monday, we left Dallas in the rain and slowly made our way back to Wheelock. Now we can go out side any time we want too, yea! For about two weeks any way and then to Washington State to see Scotty and his Family. I know PJ and I will see them and we can hardly wait.

See ya soon!

We Finally Made It To Not So Cold!

Well, PJ and I finally talked Sam and Deb into going to a warmer climate. I can hear it as if they said it yesterday, "We will drive to just south of Nashville, TN and then on the Indiana the next day".

Well "All snow broke loose!" We never made it to Indiana! The KOA in Manchester, TN was a fun place. They even had a fenced in area that PJ and I were allowed to take Sam and Deb to the Pet Area. As you can see, it took both of us to hold Deb, she was freezing to say the least. By the way, I got the new sweater, lol, cute huh?
You should have seen the 4-Runner and RV Monday when it was time to leave! I swear it took Sam two hours to get enough snow off to start driving. The slides were iced over and one was a pain in the rear to close, at least that is what I heard Sam tell Deb. PJ and I were laughing our rears off. We were having fun turning snow yellow! So, we finally got moving, Sam I had the helm of course. We drove to Meridian, MS and then to Jackson for a couple of days for what Sam called Business, what ever that is.
PJ and I are excited because we will be home Thursday and we will not have to lead Sam and Deb around on the leashes until we hit the road again.
See Ya Back in Wheelock!

TN Snow Fun!

The things Humans make you do!
This is a picture at the front door of RV and guess who got to be the guinea pig?
PJ is white and you can't even see him, kidding, he threw a fit to stay inside.

It started snowing about 10 this morning and here it is 2:30 and still coming down.

How 'bout my new pink sweater? Cool, huh? Deb would not let Sam see her face, something about no make up on snowy days. How would she know that, first time we have stayed in snow, humans, lol.

Any way, will up date you tomorrow as PJ and I try to control our Humans.

On the Road to SC!

Hi All, Chloe here again!

Well Sam and I made the trip to SC and all went well. Deb and PJ did okay too, thought I would mention them but they sit back, relax and leave the driving to us, lol.

We spent about a week in SC, visiting family, Grandma in particular. She is doing fine in assisted living in Anderson and of course, no dogs were allowed and that was kind of a let down. PJ and I were looking forward to see our SC Grandma since we were not allowed to see our TX Grandma, oh well, we will get over it.

Also, while we were in SC, Sam and Deb were invited to go to the Anderson Motor Speedway Annual Banquet. Sam says it is because they do a couple of web sites for our Nephew Jimmy and his son Avery. This picture above is Sam, Deb and Avery! Yep, at the banquet and guess who had to stay in the RV at the Park, you got it! The top picture is their Racing Team. Avery has been racing since about five years old, go carts to full size cars now. Hmm, sound familiar to any other race car drivers?

Any way, we left SC yesterday, on our way to Santa Claus, Indiana, stopped for the night in Manchester, TN, just south of Nashville. Surprise, surprise, will even show pictures of the RV park on the next update. Hint, it sure is white out side. PJ and I get to turn it Yellow, lol.

See ya later,

Chloe

On the Road Again, 2010!

Hi, this is Chloe, with an update for you.

Sunday Sam and I drove the RV to Grand Prairie, TX. Deb and P.J. also went but Sam and I drove, lol. Any way, we went to see Grandma (Deb's Mom). Guess who had to stay in the RV at the RV Park with P. J.? To make matters worse, I got a little damp in my new sweater and had the sniffles real bad. Believe me, it can be a human eat human world out there, lol.

So, we left Grand Prairie this morning and drove to West Monroe, LA. P. J. and I slept most of the way. I, of course was in the drivers seat, where else would I be? It was a fun drive, especially when the state trooper passed us and scared Sam so bad he made me get down out of his lap and I had to literally stand there and beg to get back in my seat on my side. I can assure you that Sam is more alert with me helping with the driving, especially when I hear a noise out side or the air brakes.

Well, here we are in West Monroe in what was one of our favorite RV Parks. I say once was because I heard Sam and Deb fussing about the Internet. Something about surfing problems on SX, what ever the heck that is and slow motion access. I have no idea what they are talking about but I have a feeling, NO MORE West Monroe, lol.

I had to give you a quick update and hopefully pictures real soon. I have to admit, I do look good in my new sweater, you just wait and see.

See ya soon!

RV'ing With Our Humans!

Hi Folks, Internet People, Friends, and Our Human Family. We are PJ and Chloe and our Human traveling companions are Sam and Deb. Be patient, we will post their picture somewhere on there, this is not about them. We wanted to let you see us and our new way of travel. That's right, TRAVEL! No more baby sitters or Doggy Motels for us! We now travel in an RV. We think it is pretty big to, we have over heard Sam and Deb telling people that it is bigger than the first apartment that they lived in. We think an apartment is kinda like a dog house but not sure. Of course, they wanted us to stay in one of those dog houses at first, guess who won that battle? PJ: "Yeah, we get to travel and guess who gets to ride in the drivers seat?" You guessed it, CHLOE!

About us: PJ is is 11 years old and was a birthday present for Deb. As humans would say, "He is getting up there in years." He is having some difficulties seeing now and his humans and Chloe have to watch him very closely when he goes out side in strange places. Even at home, especially around Christmas, when the tree goes up and furniture is re-arranged, look out.
Chloe on the other hand was a present from Mike, our now son-in-law, to our daughter, Kristy. She asked Mom about 8 years ago to house break her and needless to say, Chloe (ain't) going any where now. She is home.

Our Humans: Sam and Deb, if you operate an Internet Business, you may have seen their picture a few times. Lord knows they have it on everything, lol, the advice of some Human Internet Guru they say.

Any way, so much for Humans. Our first trip in the RV was to Colorado Springs last April to see Tony, the youngest son and his family on his half way visit home from Iraq to see his family and especially his new son, Blake. Of course, Chloe and I call him LT, for Little Tony! This is Tony and his bunch right after getting off the airplane.

From there, we drove to Washington State to see Scotty, the middle child and his family before he leaves for a tour to the Middle East. This picture was taken on top of the tower in Seattle but of course, Chloe and I had to stay in the RV for this trip. We showed them though, what a mess to clean up when they got back.

We made several trips in 2008 and below are some shots of our travels.

Okay, okay, enough of the Humans here. We are leaving this week for a couple or three weeks in our "Travels Across Texas Trip". Sam got a new camera for Christmas and that means we all get to pose lots and lots.
See you in the next post update.
